In 2019, the team took a significant step by establishing a fully integrated multi-family platform, comprising 1,600 apartments with a combined gross value of £650 million.
Approach
Sable was founded to generate long-term, low-volatility, inflation hedged income from UK residential assets. Our central focus is on multi-family, single-family and let senior-living assets. Sable delivers vertical integration across acquisition, development and operations to drive performance from BTR assets across the UK.
Our acquisitions strategy is driven by a compelling market rationale: current UK housing stock is unable to meet the growing demand for rental accommodation. Our aim is to deliver a high quality and professional offering to residents, as well as institutional grade assets with high income security to our investors.
Taking a research-based approach, we target locations that offer long-term rental growth potential with good transport networks and employment opportunities, along with restrictive new supply prospects. Changing demographics, an ageing population and localised planning systems creates wide ranging dynamics across different locations, all of which are important to understand for stock selection.
With responsible investing at the heart of what we do, our aim is to be operationally net zero carbon on all new BTR developments by 2030.
